Ian brings a background in sports trading, an environment where success is driven by disciplined decision-making, precise pricing, and data-led strategy rather than instinct alone. Over nearly two decades, he has operated at a senior level on an international stage, developing and applying sophisticated data models to inform high-value decisions. This same analytical approach underpins every aspect of the syndicate’s operations, from the identification and acquisition of horses to their placement and ongoing management. Ian oversees the research framework, valuation discipline, purchasing process, ownership structuring, and all communication with owners, ensuring a transparent, rigorous, and professional experience throughout.

Our bloodstock partner is responsible for in-person assessment of shortlisted horses, including movement, conformation, physical suitability, and sale-ground judgement. Data can narrow the field. It cannot replace the work of physically assessing a horse properly. That is why no horse is bought on analytical theory alone. The physical assessment must support the case.

Amy joins Alpha Edge Racing with a background in finance and operations within a leading fintech investment group. She manages syndicate finances and administration. Outside work, she enjoys a day at the races and meeting owners across the sport.
